I worked in healthcare for over 40 years, and I always had to wear name tags and ID badge holders to enter hospitals. Whenever I see an ugly corporate lanyard, I cringe. They are often one-size-fits-all, which means our ID cards typically hang at an inappropriate height. It's simply not right! 

Usually, corporate lanyards or ID badge reels come in company colors that don’t match our everyday attire. I remember working for a company where the main color was orange; honestly, very few people look good in bright orange! 

My journey with WI Girl Designs began with a beaded lanyard I received as a gift from my manager. When it broke unexpectedly, I decided to repair it myself. Lacking the right tools, I invested in some equipment and grabbed a 'Jewelry Beading for Dummies' book. That’s when I got hooked! I started creating custom badge holders for coworkers and teammates, which quickly expanded to include necklaces, bracelets, earrings, medical ID alert bracelets, and even eye glass holders. 

With over 10 years of experience in the jewelry industry, WI Girl Designs has honed its craft in creating unique and stunning pieces. I use only the highest quality materials to ensure every client receives a one-of-a-kind item that exceeds expectations.
